Harmony in Harvest: MAC and GOPIO Celebrate Lohri Festival at Taj Agra Belconnen 14/01/2024

Multicultural Association of Canberra (MAC) and the Global Organisation for People of Indian Origin celebrated the Lohri harvest festival at Taj Agra Belconnen. Lohri, traditionally observed in North India, symbolises new beginnings and hope, encouraging forgiveness towards enemies and prayers for a happy, healthy, and prosperous life.The Lohri festival at Taj Agra Belconnen left an indelible mark of cultural richness, unity, and shared joy. The event served as a reminder that, in celebrating our traditions, we strengthen the bonds that weave our multicultural tapestry together. MAC and GOPIO continue to bring communities together, fostering understanding, harmony, and a celebration of diversity.
