COVID 19 Relief help 2021
The Multicultural Association of Canberra helped the community by providing hampers and cooked meals for the University of Canberra International students pantry, people in quarantine across Canberra and OzHarvest. Network with CALD politicians and community members
MAC makes a point to build and network with larger communities in Canberra and one of such efforts was with CALD. It helps understand and reach out to different challenges and discuss with politicians and community members.
Fundraiser event
GOPIO and MAC organised a fund raiser event on June 6th with help of Shonan Rozario, the owner of jewel of India. The event raised $2230 and sent to PM’s fund of India. We are grateful for all guests who attended for this initiative.

New Seniors group by MAC in Chifley
MAC initiated another seniors group at Chifley on 71, Maclauren crescent every Friday. This is for seniors over 65 and we had a huge response. It is conducted every Friday at 11am for activities like Zumba and other informative sessions.
Documentary screening by MAC on climate change
MAC facilitated the screening of a movie on April 18th to educate the community on impact of climate change.
