GOPIO and the Multicultural Association of Canberra (MAC) successfully hosted a Mindfulness Session led by the esteemed Dr Nalini Pati, with an excellent turnout from the community.
We sincerely thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the event. Special appreciation goes to Mr Surender Nagar for expertly serving as Master of Ceremonies and for his ongoing dedication to our organisations. In recognition of his valuable service, he was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation.
We were honoured by the presence of MLA Peter Cain, MLA Rebecca Vassarotti, Toa (Board Member, MARSS), and Dr Priya, an Ayurvedic doctor whose expertise we look forward to featuring at a future event.
Our sincere thanks also go to our community leaders Ravi Krish, Krishna Aggarwal, and Dr Fuxin Li for their continued support. We also acknowledge Bristol Club for the refreshments, Udaya for the photography, Owen for managing the audio, and Chhabra Ji for his inspiring poetry.
The session was a wonderful opportunity to promote mindfulness, wellbeing, and community connection, and we look forward to hosting more engaging events in the future.
