The Multicultural Association of Canberra (MAC) is honoured and delighted to receive the Excellence in Promoting Inclusion and Diversity Award at the ACT Government Multicultural Awards ceremony held on 30 September.
The award was presented by the Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Michael Pettersson, in recognition of the importance of promoting inclusion, diversity and community engagement across Canberra.
This recognition is a great encouragement for MAC to continue its commitment to building a more inclusive, connected and harmonious multicultural community.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all the award recipients and highly commended individuals and organisations. Special congratulations to Ravi Krish, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award; Kishore Nangrani, winner of the Media Award; and Dr Saikal, recognised with the Multicultural Champion Award. We also congratulate everyone whose contributions to multiculturalism were acknowledged at the ceremony.
